I came to realise that I’m wrong to come to a conclusion that there are great differences between a writer and a reader of a blog. The only obvious difference might be one read and the other type. Other than that they share the same similarity of having a purpose for what they’re doing. What do I mean by having a purpose? Some people read blog entries for the sake of reading while some read to know their friends better and the bloggers blog to complaint about how much they suffered each day etc. They carry a different purpose but still they carry a purpose. That goes the same as what I would like to talk about, everyone carries a purpose to live. The only difference is we carry different purposes and what determine the different purposes are your choices and whether you choose to find out the purpose.

Remember from the moment I graduated from Kranji Secondary School till the day I received my Junior College promotional results, I was really confused with what I want in my life. I guess it should be a blessing that I have a great family who would help me make decisions throughout my childhood and till I reach this particular age which my GB girls feel that I’m old. I never deny that. I count it as a blessing because I need not face all these decisions making since young. Yet nothing is perfect in this world, like most people would say children who always rely on their parents are spoiled kids and would never grow up. However, I beg to differ. This allows me to be more matured because firstly you’ve to realise this is your life. Then you will have to find out what are the differences between what your parents expect from you and what you expect from yourself. Lastly, you’ve to be really being firm with what you want. Most importantly, allow your parents to understand you’ve grown up; it is time for you to control your life. I never blame my parents for protecting me for these years. Parents are to be praised because God has given them the power of love to care and protect their children. I always keep in mind that the children are the ones who chose to allow their parents to control their lives. That is their choice and it was my choice too. So you might question about how do young children make decisions? There we go on and blame it on our innocence. Seriously speaking there is too much to blame in life. Ultimately, you will just lead yourself to the question of why do I have to exist in this world?

Quoted from Adam Koo (not really exact), we live because we chose to live. Well, the very interesting thing that I’ve learnt from Adam Koo is all of us fought to live in this world. For people who do not know me well, I have never liked scientific facts since the day I’m born. Yet, I always believe facts are trustworthy because they came with evidences that truly justified their existence. So Adam Koo was saying everyone’s dad is a very generous person. He gave out a lot of sperms to your mum during their intercourse. One particular sperms among the many is you. Do you think it is easy to reach the egg with millions of sperms around you as and when you like? For me, I chose to believe that it is not by chance that I chose to fight with the million sperms and reach the egg that could produce me. God has been really fair to all of us, only if you choose to live, you would fight for it and achieve your aim. Therefore, if you really hope to blame your parents for your existence in this world, think twice or in fact many times. You’re the one who chose to be here and by blaming them, it will make no difference in your life, instead you’ve just hurt your parents deeply, so does it benefit you?

Ultimately whatever you do, you’re doing for yourself. By doing for yourself, you’re helping a lot of people around you. Thus, it will never be about selfishness. It is about choice.
